Day 2 for most people was all about Hillary's speech, for me, it was about my Mom trading her credentials with me so I could spend some time on the floor - and not just anywhere on the floor - on the floor with the VT delegation. This put me four rows back on the extreme right side facing the podium.
And just so you know right up front, my iPhone battery died before the kids joined their mom on stage - sorry
Not that you can tell, but this is John Legend singing with the choir

Senator Teddy Kennedy speaking - one of the most moving parts of yesterday's event was hearing an older man way up high in the hall calling a friend and telling him how moved he was by Kennedy's appearance
Yeah, just have the camera on my iPhone, and I was way up in the nosebleeds yesterday. But here are the pictures I took. You'll see a bunch of better ones, but these are really to show 1) I was really there, 2) I was really high up and 3) Blue was the dominant color in the room.

So this is getting tagged urbanism. I just think a downtown is weakened when coffee shops close by 1 or 2PM on Sunday. The idie shops I wanted to hang in were closed, as were three count 'em three, Starbucks. Happily, I have located Denver's 16th Street Mall with a Peet's Coffee (and it's open)! with 2 hours of free wifi. The mall is the only real action downtown.
